  • Support the daily administration and operation of the Human Resources department.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, process employment changes, and prepare HR documentation, including contracts, employment letters, and reports.
  • Support payroll administration by collecting and processing payroll-related information and monitoring attendance, leave, contract dates, evaluations, permits, and other employment-related deadlines.
  • Assist with the full recruitment process, including publishing vacancies, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and preparing pre-employment documentation.
  • Coordinate and support the onboarding, orientation, and integration of new associates.
  • Coordinate and support training initiatives, maintain training records, and assist with the administration of learning and development programs.
  • Respond to associate and manager inquiries and provide professional support regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and other employment-related matters.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures while assisting with compliance with labor legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinate associate engagement, recognition, wellness, and internal communication initiatives.
  • Welcome and assist associates, applicants, managers, vendors, and other visitors to the HR office in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with departmental projects and events as needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, personnel administration, payroll administration, recruitment, or a comparable coordinating role.
  • Previous Human Resources experience within hospitality or another service-oriented environment is strongly preferred.
  • An associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or another relevant field is required. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Strong administrative skills and experience in maintaining confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in Papiamento, Dutch, and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Payroll Pro or another HR and payroll system is considered an asset.
